We have a great selection of suggested small steps you can take to help build relationships where you are. If you want more information on the work of voluntary and statutory organisations or community groups, or would like to volunteer your time, then our useful links directory will guide you in the right direction.
The One Small Step campaign has three primary aims. These are:
- Encourage individuals and groups to take action to build relationships or break down barriers.
- Highlight the good practice of many individuals and groups in building relationships or breaking down barriers.
- Challenge leaders to act constructively to do more to build a genuinely shared society that works and lives together for the benefit of us all.
What Small Step should I take?
However big or small, there are a range of steps you can take to help! The One Small Step campaign is here to encourage people in Northern Ireland and indeed, across the island of Ireland, to promote a genuinely shared future.
Whether that is connecting with someone new, or organising an event, be proud of building something new!
